Patents that blocked access to affordable generic drugs cost the lives of millions of people during the early years of HIV/AIDS. Since then, campaigning for access to medicines has saved the lives of many millions more. Today we work with partners worldwide to expand access to vaccines, the hepatitis C cure, cancer drugs, and HIV treatment and prevention.
With analysis, technical assistance and strategic advocacy, we support the priorities of civil society groups and public agencies that seek to expand access to medicines.
