Protest of Bradford County LNG Marketing LLC Application to Export LNG

Today Public Citizen filed a protest of the Application for Long-term Authorization to Export Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) to Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Nations by Bradford County LNG Marketing LLC (FE Docket No. 20-131-LNG). Our protest states that the application should be deemed deficient because it contains misleading information about the applicant’s upstream ownership. Bradford County LNG Marketing LLC fails to disclose its affiliation with SoftBank Group Corp, a financial holding company based in Minato City, Tokyo, Japan. In addition, the applicant fails to reveal that it is affiliated with the owner of the Gibbstown Logistics Center, its proposed point of export. These are two significant omissions that should render the application to be deemed deficient.
