Hollis-Eden Pharmaceuticals, Inc. v. Does

Internet Free Speech — Right To Speak Anonymously
Press Releases:
Case Description:

A pharmaceutical company sued several anonymous message board posters who expressed opinions critical of its corporate leadership and marketing efforts. Representing two of the people who had posted comments, Public Citizen moved to quash the subpoena and to dismiss the suit on the ground that it was a meritless claim intended to suppress free speech. The court agreed and dismissed the case as to our clients.
