House Judiciary Hearing on FTC to Attack Aggressive Pro-Consumer and Public Interest Agenda of Chair Lina Khan
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing at 10 a.m. ET this Thursday attacking the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and its Chair Lina Khan. Emily Peterson-Cassin, digital rights advocate for Public Citizen, released the following statement:
“The FTC under Chair Khan has been rightly aggressive in defending our rights and reining in enormous companies that put profit over the rights of everyday people. Those attacking her agenda show who they’re really working for – not their constituents, but the companies taking advantage of them.”
