Swimming against the current with Jim Hightower
If you’re in the D.C. area, you’ve got two chances on Friday to catch populist radio commentator and author Jim Hightower, who is in town as part of his book tour for his latest work, “Swimming Against the Current: Even a Dead Fish Can Go With the Flow.” If you’re not familiar with Jim, you can check out his columns and radio commentary at his Web site. Hightower, who uses his homespun humor to rail against corporate and government failings, is also a member of Public Citizen Foundation’s board of directors.
