“A pair of watchdog groups are stepping up their criticism of vaccine czar Moncef Slaoui’s ties to the drug industry, arguing that he should be held to the same conflict-of-interest and disclosure requirements as federal employees.
Public Citizen and Lower Drug Prices Now petitioned the HHS inspector general and Office of Government Ethics to make Slaoui a ‘special government employee’ — a designation that would subject him to certain ethics standards during his time running the administration’s ‘Operation Warp Speed.'”
