WSJ Letter: Price Rises Above Inflation Already Standard for Drugs
On September 3, 2019, Public Citizen responded to a Wall Street Journal Editorial criticizing a U.S. Senate Finance Committee proposal to cap Medicare drug-price increases at the rate of inflation. The letter notes that “in the past three years, more than half of all sales growth for the top 45-selling drugs was due to price increases.” The full text is available here.
