Digital Rights Program

 

Public Citizen’s Digital Rights Program challenges Big Tech’s practices and policy agendas that undermine people’s privacy, free expression, and access to knowledge in the U.S. and abroad. We work with partners worldwide to secure these fundamental rights and fight discriminatory and exploitative practices in the collection and algorithmic manipulation of personal data. We do this by supporting civil society groups and public officials with analysis, technical assistance, and strategic advocacy to help overcome technology corporations’ monopoly power.
