David Rosen (he/him/his) is a communications officer for Public Citizen, the Clean Budget Coalition and the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, David holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Tufts University as well as master’s degrees in political management and political psychology from George Washington University. Early in his career, David served as a senior campaign strategist on a number of state legislative races around the country. He moved to Washington, D.C., in 2007 and managed the Government Accountability Project’s individual giving program for four years. More recently, he worked as a messaging strategist at Media Matters Action Network and vetted candidates for D.C.’s top political staffing firm. Before joining Public Citizen in 2015, David founded a consultancy specializing in the strategic applications of political psychology and generational theory.
