David Rosen (he/him/his) is a communications officer for Public Citizen, the Clean Budget Coalition and the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, David holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Tufts University as well as master’s degrees in political management and political psychology from George Washington University. Early in his career, David served as a senior campaign strategist on a number of state legislative races around the country. He moved to Washington, D.C., in 2007 and managed the Government Accountability Project’s individual giving program for four years. More recently, he worked as a messaging strategist at Media Matters Action Network and vetted candidates for D.C.’s top political staffing firm. David is best known as the founder of First Person Politics, which focuses on the strategic applications of generational theory and political psychology.
