Organizing Manager, Democracy Campaign
Ilana is the organizing manager for the democracy team at Public Citizen where she works to pass legislation and build a movement to strengthen and protect our democracy.
Ilana leads Public Citizen’s efforts to regulate artificial intelligence through state legislation.
Before joining Public Citizen, she led electoral organizing programs for candidates running for office, most recently on the leadership team for a presidential candidate in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ilana started her career leading large scale community leadership programs for young people in underserved communities. She carries this experience with her and continues to create opportunities for young people to get involved in advocacy work in whatever role she takes on.
