By Altering Memo, Nunes Exposes His Own Corruption

Note: U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, on Wednesday accused Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) of materially altering a classified memo before it was sent to the White House for review. President Donald Trump is considering releasing it to the public against the objections of the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice.
“This goes far beyond the already appalling attempt to make public a biased memo based on what appears to be cherry-picked and misleading evidence. Now Ranking Member Adam Schiff reports that Devin Nunes materially altered his memo before sending it to the White House. This is a corrupt circus and an affront to the American people. There is no reason for the White House to continue its review of the memo, and absolutely no legitimate basis for its release.”
