Intervention in Rio Grande LNG Application to Increase Gas Exports

Today in U.S. Department of Energy docket No. 15–190–LNG, Public Citizen intervened in Rio Grande LNG’s application to increase its authorized volume of LNG exports. We note that natural gas consumption by eight LNG export terminals now exceeds the gas consumed by the more than 73 million U.S. households that are served by natural gas utilities and the five million commercial gas utility customers combined.
