Public Citizen challenges power company GenOn's request at FERC to keep names of its owners secret

GenOn, which owns a fleet of fossil fuel power plants across the country, shielded the names of its owners from the public in a recent filing with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Public Citizen is the lone intervenor, and has filed a motion to compel the public disclosure of the names of the owners. Public Citizen believes that the public interest requires that owners of power plants be public. Read the filing here:
