Letter to the House Admin and Senate Rules Committee
On Monday, August 26th, Public Citizen joined several voting rights and election security organizations in calling on the Senate Rules Committee and the House Administration Committee to hold hearings with election machine vendors on the topic of election security.
A letter was submitted and addresses to leadership on the committees, including Senator Roy Blunt, Senator Amy Klobuchar, Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, and Congressman Rodney Davis.
The signers include National Election Defense Coalition Davis, Free Speech for People, R Street Institute, Common Cause Washington, Project on Government Oversight, Electronic Privacy Information Center, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Open Source Election Technology Institute, and the League of Women Voters.
