FOIA Documents: Trump-Pharma MFN Drug Pricing Deals

The Trump administration has signed dozens of “most favored nation” (MFN) agreements with pharmaceutical companies, claiming to provide Americans with drug prices on par with those charged in peer countries. Drug companies that sign MFN agreements avoid the administration’s threatened 100% tariffs on patented pharmaceuticals.

The administration is making bold claims about potential cost savings from the deals. However, the White House has refused to make the agreements public, making it impossible to fully judge their impact.

Public Citizen filed FOIA requests with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Commerce (DOC) to obtain the administration’s MFN agreements. This page will be updated as we receive records from the administration.
