Plea to UNESCO to Save the Gulf of California From LNG Exports

Today we joined with our partners to issue a plea to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to designate the Universal Value of the “Islands and Protected Areas of the Gulf of California” as a World Heritage Site and Ramsar Wetlands in order to protect this fragile marine ecosystem from proposed Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) export terminals in Mexico.
