WHAT: U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.), chair of the U.S. House Consumer Protection and Commerce Subcommittee, and consumer advocates will discuss the last two decades of children’s product safety legislative achievements and the impact on children’s safety in the current legislative and regulatory environment in the age of coronavirus. More than two children’s products are recalled every week because they contain dangerous flaws that could injure or kill kids. Schakowsky and Public Citizen’s Remington A.
