No Witnesses? That’s Not a Trial. It’s a Sham.

A trial without evidence is a sham.
By voting to block witnesses from testifying before the U.S. Senate and refusing to allow any new vital documents in evidence in President Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, lawmakers have willfully abdicated their responsibility to conduct a fair trial and have defied the will of the people.
Historically, impeachment trials have had witnesses. Polls show that the majority of Americans want witnesses to testify in this trial. Recent revelations from the unpublished manuscript of Trump’s former national security adviser John Bolton highlight that witnesses exist who have relevant, firsthand, and fresh information that goes to the heart of Trump’s abuse of power and obstruction of justice.
History will not treat kindly senators who voted to block the truth.
