Live Costumed Extravaganza Performance of Parody ‘TPP: Let It Go’ Song at White House on Date of Trans-Pacific Partnership Signing

9 a.m. Wednesday: TPP on Ice Extravaganza Featuring Favorite Frozen Characters and a Cast of Dozens Singing and Dancing

WHAT: One-time-only “TPP On Ice” performance by Fair Trade Princess Ilsa of her rendition of “TPP: Let it Go,” featuring a cast of dozens including Olaf, snowmen and reindeer. As trade officials meet in New Zealand to sign the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), original parody lyrics to the “Frozen” anthem will highlight why it’s beneficial for workers and small businesses, the environment, affordable medicines and our democracy to let the TPP go! The TPP would make it easier to offshore U.S. jobs, drive down wages, raise medicine prices, and threaten food safety and the environment. The performance, replete with banners, props and costumes, kicks off TPP signing day protests nationwide and in Auckland, New Zealand, and other cities in TPP nations.
