Federal Judge Extends Pause on Parts of USAID Shutdown
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, a federal judge extended the pause on parts of Trump’s attempted shutdown of USAID by seven more days.
Lauren Bateman, an attorney for Public Citizen, issued the following statement in response:
“Today’s decision to extend the pause on the Trump administration’s illegal and unconstitutional attempt to dismantle USAID is a step towards relief for thousands of Americans doing critical, life-saving work across the world.”
