Public Citizen v. United States Agency for International Development

On January 31, 2025, Public Citizen submitted a FOIA request to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for records relating to USAID’s purge of programs and employees. In April 2025, after USAID failed to produce any requested records, Public Citizen filed suit. The agency then began to disclose the requested records. The production is ongoing.
