Public Citizen v. United States Department of Housing and Urban Development

On January 31, 2025, Public Citizen submitted a FOIA request to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for records relating to HUD’s use of non-governmental entities to conduct government communications. HUD failed to produce any requested records. In April 2025, Public Citizen filed suit, seeking to compel HUD to produce the requested records.
