Public Citizen Testimonies Before the Food and Drug Administration’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee Regarding BPC-157, MOTS-c, and Emideltide
Public Citizen’s Health Research Group testified in the open public hearing of the July 23-24, 2026, meeting of the Food and Drug Administration’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee urging the committee to vote against placing the unproven peptides BPC-157, MOTS-c and emideltide on the 503A Bulks List, because they lack adequate evidence for use in humans and their use have not been demonstrated to be safe or effective. Adding these peptides to the 503A Bulks List would set a dangerous regulatory precedent and will put patients at risk.
