Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act
After “60 Minutes” ran a piece about congressional insider trading – an idea given to a producer by Public Citizen – the country demanded action. The result? The STOCK Act, which prohibits insider trading by members of Congress and their staffs.
