Promoting a Transparent and Democratic Presidential Transition Series
This project outlines recommendations for candidates to conduct their preparations for a new presidential administration in a manner that incorporates democratic good governance principles, such as embracing transparency and adoption of ethics policies for individuals engaged in planning work adhere to ethics policies. These recommendations apply to increasing degrees to work conducted before the major parties finalize their nominees, to the run-up to the general election, and to the official transition period overseen by the new president-elect.
