Wendy Liu

Wendy Liu (she/her) is an attorney at Public Citizen Litigation Group, where her practice areas include open government, consumer law, and access to courts. Wendy joined Public Citizen in February 2021. Before joining Public Citizen, Wendy was an associate at Robbins, Russell, Englert, Orseck, Untereiner & Sauber LLP, where she represented clients in trial and appellate litigation in federal and state courts. Previously, Wendy clerked for the Honorable Martha C. Daughtrey of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Honorable Valerie E. Caproni of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Wendy graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and Managing Editor of the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics. Her undergraduate degree is from Princeton University.
Wendy is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and New York and is admitted to practice in multiple federal courts.
