Stephanie Garlock

Stephanie Garlock (she/her) is an attorney at Public Citizen Litigation Group. She previously interned for Public Citizen in 2019.
Before joining Public Citizen, Stephanie was an attorney in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Office of Litigation, where she represented the CFPB in appellate litigation and challenges to agency regulations. Previously, Stephanie clerked for the Honorable Christopher R. Cooper of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the Honorable Pamela A. Harris of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Stephanie graduated in 2020 from Yale Law School. Before law school, she worked as a journalist and as a legal assistant at Gupta Wessler LLP. Stephanie earned her undergraduate degree in history from Harvard College.
Stephanie is a member of the District of Columbia bar and is admitted to practice in several federal courts.
