Peter Whoriskey
Research Director
Peter Whoriskey is Research Director in the Health Research Group at Public Citizen, where he focuses on drug approvals, regulatory accountability, and the business of healthcare.
Before joining Public Citizen, he spent more than two decades at the Washington Post, where his investigative reporting on healthcare, pharmaceuticals, private equity and supply chains earned him several honors, including a George Polk Award. Earlier, his investigations of mobile home construction prompted a Congressional hearing and an overhaul of regulations and were part of Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage at the Miami Herald.
