Christine Wood
Declaration for American Democracy Co-Director
Christine Wood is the co-director of Declaration for American Democracy. Christine is an experienced organizer, canvass director and field director with a background in both electoral and issue-based advocacy. She served as a field organizer in 2016 for a presidential campaign and as the field director in 2018 for a Congressional campaign. Previously, Christine led organizing efforts on college campuses for the Climate Reality Projects’ 100% Renewable campaigns in North Carolina. Christine has worked with a wide range of people and community-based grassroots organizations throughout the country to recruit and train organizers and volunteers. Through that work, she developed a passion for inspiring everyday people to take action, which continues to drive her work at Public Citizen.
