AIG is one of the top insurance providers in the world for coal, oil, and gas, and has invested at least $26.8 billion in fossil fuel companies.

AIG’s support of fossil fuels is enabling projects that endanger nearby Indigenous communities and drive climate change. The company is a known insurer of the Trans Mountain tar sands pipeline in Canada AND won’t rule out insuring the destructive Adani Carmichael coal mine in Australia.
