The single most important risk management strategy the FDA can undertake in the short-term to reduce the publics risk from preventable adverse drug reactions is to go forward as rapidly as possible with regulations that require pharmacists to distribute scientifically accurate, useful written drug information, or Medication Guides, approved by the agency.
