The Atlanta Journal-Constitution published an op-ed written by Peter Lurie, deputy director of Public Citizen’s Health Research Group, and Jonas Hines, a PC research associate, about noted Emory psychiatrist Charles Nemeroff. The article decries the $2.8 million in consulting fees Dr. Nemeroff collected over eight years, much of it not reported to Emory University, in violation of federal regulations and assurances he gave school administrators.
