Transformational Change: Fixing our Democracy

This week marks the one-year anniversary of the U.S. House of Representatives’ passage of the transformational For the People Act (H.R.1), and we can all sense the opportunity moment. In the wake of the cesspool of corruption of this administration, people are hungry for change. They understand that ensuring government works for the people is essential to taking our nation forward. We simply can’t address climate change, enact sensible gun laws or fix our economy without reforming our democracy. The public will for reform is strong. Winning this reform package isn’t optional – it’s a necessity.
