U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren to Deliver Major National Address at Symposium on Trump Era Deregulation

WHAT: U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) will deliver a major national address on the threat to public protections in the Trump era at a June 5 symposium hosted by the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards. “The War on Regulation: Good for Corporations, Bad for the Public” will feature two panels, one focusing on deregulatory actions at key federal agencies and the other highlighting communities that have suffered as a result of inadequate regulation and enforcement. Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh will deliver the closing remarks. Lunch will be served following Warren’s address, and the event is open to the press and the public.
