Dec. 7 - Dudley Nomination Fails to Advance in Senate

The nomination of industry-backed extremist Susan Dudley to become the new White House regulatory czar has died in committee, the committee chairwoman confirmed.

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), chair of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, confirmed speculation that the committee would not be proceeding to a vote on the controversial nomination.
