Meena Aladdin, M.S., Ph.D.

Health Researcher

Meena Aladdin joined Public Citizen in 2018 and serves as a health researcher in the Health Research Group. Her work focuses on drug safety and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) oversight. Prior to joining Public Citizen, she completed a fellowship in hematology at the FDA’S Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. Meena is trained as a toxicologist and earned her doctorate from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she also expanded her focus to include risk assessment and public policy. She graduated magna cum laude from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in biology and holds a master’s degree in environmental health science from New York University.
