Press Officer of Regulatory Affairs, Communications
David Rosen is Public Citizen’s press officer focusing on regulatory affairs as well as the press officer for the Coalition for Sensible Safeguards and the Clean Budget Coalition. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, David holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Tufts University as well as master’s degrees in political management and political psychology from George Washington University. Early in his career, David served as a senior campaign strategist on a number of state legislative races around the country. He moved to Washington, D.C., in 2007 to manage the Government Accountability Project’s individual giving program for four years. More recently, he worked as a messaging strategist at Media Matters Action Network and vetted candidates for D.C.’s top political staffing firm. David is best known as the founder of First Person Politics, a public affairs consultancy specializing in the strategic applications of political psychology.
