Associations of State and Local Officials

State Trade Legislative Oversight Committees

Several states have formed commissions to explore the impact of international trade agreements on state sovereignty and regulatory authority. These commissions may consist of state officials and public citizens, serving as a vehicle for citizens to communicate their concerns to local, state and federal governments, as well as the USTR.

National Associations

National associations provide a mechansim through which state and local officials collectively can voice their thoughts and concerns regarding international trade issues to Congress and the Office of the United States Trade Representative.
