Public Citizen's Water For All campaign is proud to announce the completion of our directory of all U.S. non-profits that work on water privatization issues. It is the first of its kind, and lists more than 700 groups around the country that are working to protect public water resources at the local, state or national level. This new tool should be useful in helping activists foster a stronger front against private water companies that are attempting to take over water systems and resources around the country. The directory is available for free on the web by clicking the link below, but a bound, color-printed version is also available for $15 (plus s/h) and can be ordered by calling (800) 289-3787 or by printing out and mailing this flyer. Reporters may request a complimentary copy by calling (202) 454-5174. For more information, see Public Citizen's press release on the directory here. Because Public Citizen does not accept funds from corporations, professional associations or government agencies, we can remain independent and follow the truth wherever it may lead. But that means we depend on the generosity of concerned citizens like you for the resources to fight on behalf of the public interest. If you would like to help us in our fight, click here. |
