Oct. 30 - Government should redo its predictions of the impact of new fuel economy rulesThe National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) proposed fuel economy standards would have the most significant positive effect on climate change of any action taken by the U.S. government to date. But an impact statement prepared by the government, which is supposed to inform decision-makers and the public, doesn't do the job.
