Reform Groups Call for Overhaul of House "Effectively Dead" Oversight Process

On March 2, 2004, Public Citizen and seven other government reform and watchdog groups called on the US House of Representatives to overhaul its oversight process, which, thanks to a "truce" between the parties, has been effectively dead for seven years.
