Meat Safety

An issue related to irradiation that has become increasingly important to the food irradiation campaign is the production and safety of beef, poultry and other meat products. We continue to work with several allies to block the USDA's attempts to allow the meat industry to do self-inspection, through its Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program.
