Stopping the Nuclear RelapseBreaking News: Nuclear Regulatory Commission Suspends Review of Reactor Applications for Mississippi and Louisiana The nuclear power industry, with the support of the Bush administration, is pushing for a revival of nuclear energy. The industry is aggressively seeking to license and build the first new nuclear reactors in a generation. Toward this end, nuclear companies have sought public approval by disingenuously presenting the energy source as clean, renewable, and necessary to deal with global warming, environmental degradation, and dwindling petroleum resources. If you're interested in stopping the nuclear power relapse, visit our Activists' Guide to Fighting Nuclear Power.
