Unfair RedactionsThe following documents are examples of uneven and/or excessive redaction, which are common in these releases. Many documents have been completely censored, gutting them of meaning and context. In some cases, duplicate copies of a document have been redacted differently, which may imply carelessness on the part of FOIA staff or a lack of standards, in practice, for redacting sensitive government texts.
