The right to equitable access to water is challenged in many areas of the United States. In many areas families are cut off from their essential services or receive water that is unsafe to drink. Public Citizen works for clean and affordable water. Our water can be protected with increased citizen involvement and community participation in order to keep our water utilities accountable.
Because Public Citizen does not accept funds from corporations, professional associations or government agencies,
we can remain independent and follow the truth wherever it may lead. But that means we
