NO TO THE FREE TRADE AREA OF THE AMERICAS (FTAA)

Thousands of people from the Americas, north and south, will gather in Miami during the week of November 17th, to say "no" to the FTAA and "yes" to global justice, good jobs, and sustainable communities. Water activists from Argentina to Canada will gather in Miami to hold workshops, speak-outs and strategy sessions calling for policies that protect water as a public resource and a human right rather than free trade agreements like the FTAA that protect the rights of multinational corporations to profit from vital natural resources like water.
