What is Water for All?

What We Do:
Public Citizen's Water for All Campaign works with citizens' groups in the United States and internationally  to build awareness about the risks of water privatization. We monitor U.S. state and federal legislation and support citizens' groups that are defending their municipal water utilities from being privatized. The Water for All Campaign also fights to stop bulk water exportation and sales of surface waters and groundwater. Furthermore, the campaign publishes reports about the often dismal track record of multinational water corporations as well as reports that offer economical and ethical alternatives to privatization.

The International Campaign disseminates reports, research and builds international networks of solidarity with citizen's groups that oppose the water privatization efforts of the global water companies, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the regional development banks, and the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Because Public Citizen does not accept funds from corporations, professional associations or government agencies, we can remain independent and follow the truth wherever it may lead. But that means we depend on the generosity of concerned citizens like you for the resources to fight on behalf of the public interest. If you would like to help us in our fight, click here.
