It is bad enough that at least 271 people, in the U.S. alone, were killed in rollover crashes resulting from shoddy Firestone tires on poorly designed Explorers. Even worse, Ford knew about the deadliness of these vehicles and withheld information that could have saved lives, until the last possible minute.
