Urge your representative to cosponsor the TRADE Act! H.R. 3012, the TRADE Act, delivers on the broad public expectation that Congress and Obama will forge a new trade policy that creates jobs, ensures import safety and fixes past damaging agreements like NAFTA, as they have promised. The TRADE Act was introduced for 2009 with 106 cosponsors. If you can help get your House member signed onto the TRADE Act, you can further build the momentum towards a new trade agenda.
Stand up for victims of sexual assault and discrimination Urgent action needed! We helped pass Sen. Franken’s (D-Minn) amendment to bar defense contractors from forcing employees with sexual assault and discrimination claims into arbitration. The Senate is considering "alternatives" to our right to hold negligent providers accountable when they cause severe, permanent injuries or death. Tell them to say no to health industry lobbyists seeking more immunity for negligent providers.
Testify for cleaner vehicles The Obama administration has proposed new fuel economy and greenhouse gas standards for motor vehicles could result in the most significant climate action ever in this country. We need you to tell the federal agencies to keep the standards strong!
