Trade Adjustment Assistance Database
On this page you can search for specific workplaces that have laid off workers due to rising imports or offshoring of production. The Department of Labor certifies these trade-impacted workplaces under its Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program, which entitles laid off workers to training and temporary income assistance. The database contains all TAA petitions certified or denied between January 1994 and July 2011. Please review our guide on how to interpret the data here and the technical documentation here. Learn more about the TAA program here.

You can search by congressional district. To do so, select the state of the district and then type the number of the district in the “District” box – add a leading zero if the district is a single digit, such as “03”. Go here if you are unsure of your congressional district
NOTE: By default, petitions that were denied TAA certification are included in the search results. To exclude denied petitions from the results, uncheck the “Petition Denied” box below before submitting a search.
